Bill Maher is not known for his love of Republicans. In fact, it’s just the opposite. But ever since 2020, he’s become more outspoken against his own party. The noted liberal comedian and commentator has triggered the anger of the left by calling out their extreme policies. And he is hitting them right at home.
Recently, Maher discussed just how drastic leftist policies are in the state of California. He talked about how the far-left socialists who run the state are driving people away. And, the end result will not be pretty for the Democrats. Because the HBO host claimed it will to hurt them, come election day.

Citing failed attempts to deal with the homeless and even build high-speed rail, Maher warned that, “Eventually what they are going to say is ‘then fuck it to the Democratic party.’ This is an achilles heel to this party that they have to come to terms with.”
“There are just too many people with their hand out. There are too many people who are unnecessary in this equation. This is kind of beyond politics and it will get hung on, deservedly so, the Democrats,” Maher concluded.
Bill Maher criticized California’s drastic leftist policies that are hurting everyday residents. So many are fleeing the state for greener pastures. But he added that eventually, those who stick around will pin all their frustrations and pain on the Democratic Party. Maher said this while discussing the socialist policies that are running the Golden State into the ground.
His comments echo a sentiment being felt all over the country. Joe Biden and the Democrats took over the federal government in 2021. They had their chance to show the country that they are better at leading than Trump and the GOP. But what did we see? Failure on a level we couldn’t imagine. Biden triggered inflation, rising gas prices, an open border, a supply chain crisis, and chaos overseas.
Democrats sat back and let it happen, encouraging all the way. On top of that, state Democrats tortured Americans for two years. Their lockdowns, mandates, and other restrictions crippled children’s education, put millions out of work, and upended the lives of every resident. And they don’t expect a reckoning this year?
Maher is very well right about this coming red wave, and not just in California.
