Obama’s Def Sec Throws Biden To The Wolves – He Claims Joe’s Comment To Boot Putin Is Because He’s Irish
The fallout from Biden’s Putin remarks keeps coming. Many national security officials are fearing the worst. NATO allies like France and Germany are trying to put out the fires. And it seems Russia is increasingly worried about what Biden might do, given those comments.
The White House, for its part, is doing a poor job of fixing the problem. Especially when Biden doubled down during a recent press conference.
One of Obama’s top officials decided to weigh in on the issue. This former secretary of defense discussed Biden’s foolish gaffe which put all Americans at risk. Perhaps this former Obama flunky thought he was helping Biden. But in reality, he threw him to the wolves—and insulted an entire people group.

Leon Panetta, who served as secretary of defense when Biden was the vice president, suggested on Monday the president made the comments about Putin because of his Irish heritage…
“I happen to think that Joe Biden, you know, he’s Irish, really has a great deal of compassion when he sees that people are suffering. And I think it overwhelmed him in the sense of seeing all of the horrors that were resulting from this war.”
“…But at the same time, when you’re President of the United States, you just have to be disciplined to make sure you don’t make comments that ultimately have to be clarified by the White House,” Panetta added.
Wow. Leon Panetta, former secretary of defense under Obama, claimed that Biden made the gaffe because of his Irishness. Not only did he blast Biden for making the mistake and not being “disciplined,” but he managed to insult an entire race.
Isn’t it funny how often Democrats slam Republicans over race? Yet which side constantly makes assumptions about people because of their ethnic background? Oh, because Biden’s Irish, he can’t control himself and be disciplined? Is Leon saying that everyone with an Irish background can’t control themselves?
That they let their emotions get the best of them? (I guess Will Smith’s Irish too, huh?) It’s pretty incredible that Panetta thought this was an acceptable comment to say about Biden’s gaffe. I guess he couldn’t say the truth, that Biden’s cognitive decline is making his speeches unpredictable and dangerous.
No, it was his Irish blood that got him so hot, he had to lash out at Putin. Because, you know, you can’t trust the Irish!
