Federal Records Show Pelosi And Schumer’s “Dark Side” – $20M In Fundraising Funneled In By Dark Money Groups

Politicians often utilize what’s known as “dark money” to help fund their campaigns, or prepare for important elections like the upcoming midterms.

And while most elected officials speak out against the practice, it still goes on. In fact, it appears to be a major element for Democrat leaders in 2022.

This Time, The “Hidden Funds” Amount To A Whopping $20 Million.

Most insiders and experts are predicting a “red wave” this fall, as polling indicates Republicans are poised to easily reclaim the House majority.

This is due to a number of factors, including more Democrat retirements than usual and low approval ratings for President Biden’s administration.

However, Democrats are doing everything they can to maintain that control, despite the predictions.

This includes utilizing dark money to help bankroll their midterm election efforts. From Fox News:

Dark money groups associated with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have injected nearly $20 million in hidden donor cash into the midterm elections, federal records show.

According to the release of these records, the cash in question has flooded to the Senate Majority and House Majority PACs, both tied to Schumer and Pelosi respectively.

The Senate Majority PAC raked in $15 million from Majority Forward, a nonprofit organization; its president, J.B. Poersch, is a big Schumer ally.

Majority Forward is bullish on keeping established Democrats in power.

They pumped $60 million into the 2020 election cycle, for example. So over the course of two election cycles, they’re now up to $75 million.

This anonymous cash goes into Schumer’s PAC and because it’s anonymous, it technically qualifies as “dark money.”

And yet, Schumer – and Pelosi – have often spoken out against the practice of using dark money to further a political agenda and keep certain elected officials in power.

To add to the total, House Majority Forward contributed $2.5 million to the House Majority PAC, and they funneled $10 million into elections since 2019.

It’s not uncommon for both Democrats and Republicans to use plenty of dark money for campaigns and elections but in this case, two of America’s most prominent leftist leaders are in the spotlight.
