Democrats Give Impotent Reaction To SCOTUS Leak – They Just Demanded New Federal Law While Controlling White House And Congress

A leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court suggests they will overturn Roe v. Wade. This would make abortion illegal at the federal level.

Experts say this will give states the power to pass abortion laws themselves. But that’s not good enough for the abortion-loving Democrats in D.C.

With news that this is how the court might rule, they are scrambling to overthrow our entire government.

From CNN:

Senate Democratic candidates on Monday immediately called for eliminating the filibuster and passing legislation to protect abortion rights after Politico published what it said was a draft Supreme Court majority opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade.

Progressives are pushing to remove the filibuster so they can pass a law that legalizes abortion at the federal level. Why do they need to remove the filibuster? Don’t they have majorities in both chambers—and hold the White House?

From Twitter:

Democrats are demanding to legalize abortion at the federal level, fearing the Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade. To do this, they need to eliminate the filibuster, which would allow them to pass any random laws they want.

Pundits have pointed out that demanding to remove the filibuster to pass a law makes Democrats look pathetic and weak.

They have majorities in the House and Senate. And Joe Biden will sign anything the DNC puts on his desk.

Yet, they can’t get anything done without removing the filibuster? Can’t they get anything down with their majority?

Apparently not. Don’t forget that not everyone in the Democratic Party will vote for abortion. All those representatives in swing districts might be too afraid to vote on that kind of law.

Then there are moderates like Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema in the Senate. Do Democrats really think they’ll vote to remove the filibuster to support abortion?

Democrats claim this is only to force Republicans to vote, on record, for or against abortion. Um… what? Republicans will gladly vote against it—and win more support from their party.
