Joe Bottoms Out In Latest Poll – Approval Rating Plummets To Lowest Of His Presidency: 39%

Joe Biden has suffered through multiple low points during his time in Washington. This includes historically low approval ratings according to various polls and surveys.

Recently, with the sinking market and rising inflation, Biden’s report card is looking even worse. Most Americans are increasingly concerned that the country is heading in the wrong direction.

And As A Result, POTUS Just Hit A New Low.

According to a poll conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Research, the President’s approval rating has dropped below 40% for the first time.

We’ve seen other surveys that showed Biden’s job performance rating down in the 30s, but the AP’s poll hasn’t seen numbers quite that low. This suggests the Commander-in-Chief’s approval is sinking across the board.

Currently, only about 39% of U.S. adults approve of Biden’s performance, yet another drop compared to previous ratings.

On top of that, the majority of citizens believe the economy is the country’s biggest issue. And perhaps surprisingly, the largest drop in approval came from the Democrat side.

Via the AP:

Overall, only about 2 in 10 adults say the U.S. is heading in the right direction or the economy is good, both down from about 3 in 10 a month earlier.

Those drops were concentrated among Democrats, with just 33% within the president’s party saying the country is headed in the right direction, down from 49% in April.

Last year, none of the AP-NORC polls showed Biden’s approval among Democrats was below 82%.

But those days are gone: now that approval has dropped significantly to 73%, which is definite cause for concern. If the President can’t hold support from his own party, it spells trouble for the future.

That trouble won’t just include the 2024 presidential election, either. Experts say Biden’s sinking numbers are evidence that Republicans will flip the House and Senate during the midterm elections this year.

With an uptick in violence, skyrocketing gas prices, and an unresolved border crisis, it doesn’t look like Biden’s approval will rise any time soon, either.

Everyday Americans are apparently fed up as well. 29-year-old high school counselor Milan Ramsey – a Democrat in California – was forced to move into her parents’ home to raise their baby boy:

I don’t know how much worse it can get. He hasn’t delivered on any of the promises.

On the Republican side, Biden has very few allies.

Less than 1 in 10 approve of the President or his handling of the economy and overall, more than 2/3 of the country think Biden is screwing up the economy. His policies have been under fire for months.

And with the midterms right around the corner, Democrats are scrambling to maintain their grip in D.C. Right now, it looks like much of the nation is definitely leaning red.
