Watch: Anderson Cooper Gets Ambushed in CNN Lobby: ‘Get the F**k Away From Me!’

On Friday, a man who was unhappy over a report on CBS’s “60 Minutes” heckled CNN primetime star Anderson Cooper in the lobby of his company’s New York City headquarters.

A video circulating on TikTok shows a man with a camera following Cooper into a revolving door leading to CNN’s offices in Midtown New York.

“What the f–k are you doing?” Cooper exclaimed. “Get the f–k away from me!”

The man accused Cooper of doing “infomercials” for eVTOLs, or electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, and benefiting their manufacturers, namely Boeing.

Cooper is a part-time correspondent for CBS’s long-running show in addition to his role on his nightly CNN show. In the piece, he profiled companies including Austin, Texas-based Lift Aircraft as well as Joby Aviation, the California-headquartered firm that is also at the forefront of producing air taxis.

Cooper is seen taking a test flight in one of the air taxis, exclaiming afterward: “That was awesome. That was so much fun. Wow. I, so just wanna, like, take off with it.”

Cooper also wrote in the opening to the piece, “EVTOLs promise a faster, safer and greener mode of transportation – potentially changing the way we work and live.”

The heckler implied that the “60 Minutes” reporter was shilling for eVTOL manufacturers, asking Cooper if he had “investments in Joby, Wisk or Lyft?”

The host of CNN’s “AC360” tried to ignore the heckler and kept walking through the revolving door, but as he continued to follow behind, recording Cooper’s movements and reactions, the news anchor snapped at him.

It was not clear whether the man was arrested.
