It’s no secret to anyone that Joe Biden’s approval ratings have been in the toilet. They’ve been terrible for months, ever since the summer of 2021. But apparently the only person who didn’t notice was Joe Biden himself. That’s because he continued to push the very policies that got him into trouble in the first place.
But it looks like Biden is finally realizing he’s in big, big trouble. You can only ignore a problem for so long before it comes back biting. The Biden administration, as it nears the 2022 midterms, is trying to find a way to reverse his dropping approval numbers.
Are they reversing his failed policies? Nope! They are begging Barry O to come and save them.
Former President Barack Obama on Tuesday will make his first return to the White House since leaving office where he will join President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to applaud the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
Obama is scheduled to “deliver remarks celebrating the success of the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid in extending affordable health insurance to millions of Americans as part of the President’s agenda to cut costs for American families,” according to a White House agenda seen by the Hill.
Oh, Joe, come on. This is just getting sad. Barack Obama will be returning to the White House for the first time since he left. He will be appearing alongside failed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to tout the “successes” of Obamacare.
You know, that terrible piece of legislation that motivated millions of Americans to elect Donald Trump in 2016?
This is the best Biden can produce to salvage his presidency? Obama has remained a figure in the public eye ever since he left office. But his star power has waned considerably since his glory days of 2008. In recent years, it doesn’t seem as if his influence has done much to help the failing Democratic Party.
And this stunt will only further Biden’s decline. Obamacare is one of the most hated policies among actual Americans. Yet, for some odd reason, Democrats keep propping it up as a victory. I guess it was the last real legislative victory they’ve achieved, so they have no choice but to talk about it.
It comes off as pretty sad for Obama. The Democrats need to drag back Barry O, like a has-been actor dug up for a cameo in a sequel. “Remember me, you guys!? Remember that terrible health care law that denied you good coverage!?”
