Trump Judge Stands Up To President Biden – He Moves To Block Joe’s Border Attempt To Lift Title 42

It has become one of the most argued-about topics of 2022: the Biden administration’s plan to lift Title 42 at the U.S./Mexico border.

The President’s team claims that because the CDC has given the all-clear, they need to lift the Trump-era policy that allowed border authorities to reject illegal migrants.

However, At Least One Judge Is Going To Stand Against It.

Not long after President Biden announced that Title 42 would be ending, Republican leaders and a number of border officials expressed frustration and concern.

Most are warning of unprecedented surges at the border, and several southern states are already taking legal strides to protect against it.

Just last week, 21 states leveled a lawsuit at the Biden administration regarding the lifting of Title 42, and even some Democrats are urging the President to reconsider.

If he doesn’t, though, a Trump-era judge is ready to block.

From Breitbart:

A federal judge in Louisiana, appointed by former President Donald Trump, is expected to block President Joe Biden’s plans to end the Title 42 public health authority at the United States-Mexico border.

Title 42 was implemented by former President Donald Trump 2020, and was a reaction to the spreading pandemic.

But now, with the pandemic fading and the CDC saying we don’t require the policy any longer, Biden is preparing to open all the doors at the border — and the fallout could be catastrophic.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, and Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidtt have all filed a lawsuit, alleging that lifting Title 42 puts undue strain on their states.

And now, Judge Robert E. Summerhays has thrown down a temporary restraining order, and it’ll probably get in Biden’s way.

Said Schmidtt in a statement:

Today, the court announced its intention to grant a temporary restraining order in Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona’s lawsuit against the Biden administration over their planned suspension of Title 42.

He added that the order “is expected to keep Title 42 in place until further court proceedings.”

AG Schmidtt called it a “critical win” for border and national security, as well as the rule of law. Landry also applauded the judge’s bold move.

Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) celebrated the decision, too, saying the Judge’s ruling would be a “Reprieve From An Even Bigger Self-Inflicted National Health And Security Crisis.

Border officials are estimating that lifting Title 42 will result in nearly a half-million border crossers in just one month.

And if that happens, expect Biden’s approval to potentially take another hit — after all, the border crisis has already had a major impact, and it might only get worse.
