OOPS: White House Logs Implicate Biden in a Lie about Hunter

Slow Joe has long maintained that he never talked with Hunter about his business activities while he was the Vice President and Hunter was flying around the world, collecting bags of cash and profiting off his family name. Psaki has stood by that, as has Biden, who said in 2019.“I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” and has never gone back on that.

Problem is, that was almost certainly a lie. The New York Post reviewed the White House Visitor Logs from the Obama era and found that Eric Schwerin, a man who was one of Hunter’s closest business partners, “made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations between 2009 and 2015, including a sitdown with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the West Wing” when Schwerin was “president of the since-dissolved investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners.

Rosemont Seneca, for those who don’t remember, is the investment firm co-founded by Hunter Biden, a firm that Wikipedia recently deleted the entry for because of the speculation and concern surrounding it and Hunter’s business activities. Biden’s repeated meetings with one of its top officers casts some serious doubt that Biden wasn’t involved in Hunter’s business activities.

Perhaps he never spoke to Hunter, though that seems unlikely, but it seems certainly clear that he spoke to Hunter’s business associates, which is just as bad.

Further, the timing of the visits makes them even more suspicious. As the New York Post reports:

The logs also reveal that Schwerin met with various close aides of both Joe and Jill Biden at key moments in Hunter’s life when he was striking multi-million dollar deals in foreign countries, including China.

It’s not definitive proof of anything, of course, but it is suspicious.

Senator Ron Johnson, slamming the meetings and Biden’s repeated meetings with one of Hunter’s business partners, said:

Not everyone gets to meet the Vice President of the United States in the White House. The press should be asking why Hunter Biden’s business associates — like Eric Schwerin — had that privilege and were given access to the Obama White House. This is additional evidence that Joe Biden lied when he said he never discussed Hunter’s foreign business dealings. It’s well past time for the corporate media to demand the truth from Joe Biden. The corruption of Biden Inc. must be exposed.”

And beyond those meeting with Biden aides during the time he was VP, messages from Hunter Biden’s laptop, the Post reports, show that Schwerin “was involved in Joe Biden’s personal taxes and discussed the vice president’s financial future with him.”

None of that is crystal clear proof that Joe was lying when he said that he never talked to Hunter about his business activities. But, regardless of how much the duo talked, it sure does seem like Biden was far more involved with Hunter’s activities than he would care to let on or so far has let on.
