Democrats And Republicans Gang Up On Biden – They Just Ordered The President To Cancel His Disinformation Board

You gotta hand it to Joe Biden. He really knows how to follow up on a bad decision with one that is even worse.

After the disaster that was the first quarter of 2022, Joe announced a “Disinformation Governance Board.” Countless Americans rampaged, claiming this was an attempt by Biden to stifle our First Amendment.

We’ve only begun to see the pushback from this announcement. And now, both Republicans and Democrats are ganging up on Joe.

Both Republican and Democratic lawmakers questioned the creation of the Biden administration’s “Disinformation Governance Board” within the Department of Homeland Security, saying the mission of the board was unclear, and of questionable constitutionality…

“I still have yet to be explained what this thing is,” Rep. Peter Meijer, R-Mich., told Fox News Digital…

“As far as I’m concerned, the government has no business saying that this is disinformation and this is information,” [Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn] added.

More opposition is coming out over Biden’s planned “disinformation” board. Very little explanation has been given over what this board will actually do. Or how it will enforce anything.

That has led to many Americans claiming that such a board violates the First Amendment, which forbids the government from restricting free speech.

And now, lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are challenging this news. Some, including Democrats, are saying this board should be canceled before it is even started.

One Democrat, Rep. Jim Himes, even said the government “has no business” deciding what is disinformation and what isn’t.

His comments echo numerous complaints from leaders, lawmakers, and citizens.
