Days After Supreme Court’s Historic Ruling – Poll Claims That More Voters Stand With The Court Than Against

admin

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week, Democrats melted down. Abortion extremists rioted in blue cities and made wild threats against pro-life groups.

Democrats in office made threats against the court and vowed this will come back on Republicans.

But will it? A new poll asked what voters thought of the news. And once again, Democrats are in the minority.

From Rasmussen Reports:

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. voters approve of the Supreme Court abortion ruling, including 38% who Strongly Approve of the decision, which means that each state can now determine its own laws regarding abortion. Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove of the Supreme Court’s new ruling, including 38% who Strongly Disapprove.

In a new poll conducted by Rasmussen, more voters side with the court than with Democrats. Fifty percent of those asked agreed with ending Roe.

Only 45% were against the court ending federalized abortion.

In the wake of the Supreme Court decision, abortion advocates spread all kinds of false information about what will happen next.

They claimed this was the government “controlling” women’s bodies. They said women and girls will die because of it.

What escaped their notice was the fact this ruling gives power back to the people. Under Roe, it was the government forcing this decision onto people.

But now, states can decide abortion rights, based on what the people want.

If voters in a state are in favor of abortion, they can simply elect lawmakers who will pass laws allowing it.

But if voters in a state do not want abortion, they will elect lawmakers who ban the practice.

That isn’t government intrusion, it’s democracy.

But, as we’ve seen in recent years, Democrats only like democracy when it works in their favor. The moment our system of government doesn’t give them what they want, they cry anarchy.

This poll suggests more voters will favor pro-life laws in the coming months and years. Even in blue states, we might see a shift.

Democrats were comfortable under a situation where the court forced this issue onto us. But they are panicking because Americans now have the power?
