California Governor Sent Spinning By His In-Laws

For some strange reason, the Governor of California is obsessed with Florida’s Ron DeSantis.

Bitter, perhaps, that so many Californians are fleeing to Florida, Newsom has even pledged $100,000 to help DeSantis lose his re-election bid.

From Breitbart:

Radical left California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) wants to transform the “free state of Florida” into blue California, proudly pledging on Thursday to donate $100,000 to Rep. Charlie Crist’s (D) gubernatorial campaign

Talk about sour grapes.

But the leftist governor just got schooled. Because his apparently conservative in-laws donated to Ron DeSantis.

From Fox News:

According to contribution records on the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC website, the Siebel Family Revocable Trust made a $5,000 contribution on April 6, 2022.

That trust is run by Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, the parents of Newsom’s wife, Jennifer Siebel, records obtained by Fox News Digital show.

Ouch, Newsom. I’m guessing someone won’t be attending the Siebel Thanksgiving dinner this year, huh?

Gavin Newsom, who has accused Florida of stealing resident’s “freedom,” is donating $100,000 to help sure-to-lose Charlie Crist’s gubernatorial campaign.

Meanwhile, Newsom’s in-laws run a trust that donated $5,000 to the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC.

So… I guess Newsom’s wife’s folks don’t agree with him that leftist Charlie Crist should run Florida?

Florida has become the number one state to which Americans are fleeing (close behind are states like Texas and Arizona).

Gov. DeSantis defied the radical left in 2020, by keeping the state open. He has implemented numerous conservative policies that have made Florida one of the freest states in the Union.

Apparently, Newsom isn’t satisfied with making California a leftist dystopia. He is spending big bucks on helping a socialist take over the Sunshine State.

But Democratic strategists have placed Crist’s odds of winning up there with the Powerball Lotto.
