After GOP Governors Ship Migrants To Blue Cities Gavin Newsom Begs The Justice Department To Press Charges

This week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis verified that he’d sent a couple planes filled with illegal migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

He was following in the footsteps of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who has already sent numerous busloads of undocumented travelers to New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.

But Now, A Democrat Governor Wants DeSantis Punished, And He Actually Used The Word “Kidnapping.”

After DeSantis sent the migrants to the playground of the ultra-rich (and one that historically caters to liberal millionaires), he said states like Massachusetts, New York, and California were better equipped to care for the migrants.

After all, they seem proud of being self-proclaimed “sanctuary states,” and have no problem with President Joe Biden’s open border policies.

However, Democrat leaders from these areas have ripped DeSantis and Abbott for using the migrants as “political pawns,” and have even suggested that the actions they took were illegal.

That’s where California Gov. Gavin Newsom comes in. Via Fox News:

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has asked the Department of Justice to look into whether sending migrants to other parts of the country constituted kidnapping or other federal crimes.

In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, Newsom asked whether actions by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sending illegal immigrants from their respective states to destinations such as New York City, Washington, D.C. Chicago, and Martha’s Vineyard were illegal.

Newsom claimed that a few of the migrants said a recruiter “induced them to accept the offer of travel based on false representations.”

Apparently, they said they would be transported to Boston and would get faster access to work authorization. The California Governor wants the DOJ to look into this, to see if kidnapping charges were possible.

Gov. DeSantis’ office has already said they were operating well within the boundaries of federal law, but Newsom still wants an investigation.

The controversy over the worsening border crisis rages on, as southern state leaders continue to take action. They’ve been claiming for years that the Biden administration has completely ignored the issue.

This comes at the cost of countless dollars and even lives, as the safety and stability of southern states are under constant strain, according to their leaders and border authorities.

They also show no signs of stopping, as Gov. Abbott just sent more illegal immigrants straight to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Recent reports say border agents have apprehended over 2 million undocumented travelers already in 2022, with single-day and monthly records being broken on a routine basis.

And it’s likely to be a prominent debate topic when the midterm elections come up in November.
