Biden Sent Spinning Right Before Midterms – In a Major Turnaround, 99 Days Later Gas Prices Go Back Up

Oh, Joe. When are you going to get your act together?

With just weeks before the midterms, Democrats are trying to deflect from Biden’s failures.

And Joe’s tried to take credit for a minor drop in a massive problem. But it looks like he won’t be able to do that anymore.

From Just the News:

Gas prices increased Wednesday after declining for 99 days straight, with the national average price for regular gas now $3.68 a gallon…

AAA warns prices could go higher, based on several factors including the Atlantic hurricane season.

“All streaks have to end at some point, and the national average for a gallon of gas has fallen $1.34 since its peak in mid-June,” AAA spokesperson Andrew Gross said Monday.

Gas prices have been one of Biden’s biggest failures.

He tried to blame Putin for high gas prices. That never made sense, of course. Gas prices had been rising ever since Biden shut down oil and gas leases in the United States (nearly a year before Putin invaded Ukraine).

But when gas prices started to drop (a bit) through the end of Summer, Biden tried to take credit for that.

What a minute, how is that possible? How can Biden take credit for prices going down, when he allegedly had no power in them going up?

You can’t have it both ways, Joe.

Most economists claimed gas prices went down over the Summer because people stopped traveling.

Record inflation and high energy prices forced Americans to cancel their travel plans. Lower demand meant prices went down a bit.

But even that wasn’t permanent. Joe’s ongoing war with American energy–even banning oil and gas leases that would have helped Native Americans–continues.

He has leased less land for drilling than any president since Truman. Biden is clearly trying to end our oil industry–something he promised to do during the 2020 Election.

And, right on cue, gas prices are going back up.

Key Takeaways:

  • Gas prices are starting to go up after a few weeks of decline.
  • Biden tried to take credit for the drop in prices, despite his energy policy.
  • Biden shut down American energy, triggering the gas price crisis.
