After ‘The View’ Insults MTG’s Outfit – Marjorie Challenges Those “Nasty” Hosts With a Dare

The results show that President Joe Biden’s State of the Union wasn’t widely watched, but the speech still made plenty of waves in the political arena.

Part of that was due to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s outburst during the speech, where she stood up and called POTUS a “liar.” Other Republicans joined in with some catcalling as well.

But the hosts on ‘The View’ also saw fit to mock MTG’s outfit — and now the GOP firebrand has returned fire.

Former Trump official and current co-host on ‘The View,’ Alyssa Farah Griffin, insulted Greene’s outfit on TV by saying:

I was distracted by Marjorie Taylor Greene’s jacket. It looked like she skinned my puppy.

Rep. Greene got a chance to respond to the mockery when she went on ‘Hannity’ this week.

She dismissed the jab from those “nasty women” and clarified as follows:

Occasionally I get yelled at by old white women, and I always know that they watch ‘The View’ because those are some nasty women on that show, and they have no right to insult anyone’s fashion.

I was wearing a wool coat, actually, and it’s one of my favorite coats because I got it in Wyoming when I was campaigning against and raising money to beat Liz Cheney, and I was happy to wear it to the State of the Union because it simply went with my dress.

Greene added that her supporters don’t care what anyone thinks, especially anyone on ‘The View.’

Then she took it a step further and dared the far-left show to bring her on, and debate her on certain points. She ripped the program for representing the worst of America:

I’ll challenge the women on ‘The View’ anytime for a debate because they represent the worst part of America, the worst views, and to be honest with you, no one in my district cares what they think.

As for calling Biden a “liar,” the Georgia congresswoman clearly isn’t apologetic.

In fact, she defended her position, saying the White House used her name and image when trying to accuse Republicans of cutting Social Security and Medicare.

Greene pointed out that “we have not had one single meeting in the GOP conference” about doing that. And ever since Biden claimed it, Republicans have vehemently denied the allegation.

That’s why Rep. Greene called the President a liar, and she finished by saying she was “honored to be able to call him” that.

Obviously, she doesn’t believe anyone — even the Commander-in-Chief — should be able to get away with misleading the American people.

In regards to her challenge to ‘The View,’ it isn’t likely to happen any time soon, as critics maintain that the show historically ignores anybody who holds a significantly different opinion than their own.

Key Takeaways:

  • ‘The View’ mocked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s SOTU outfit, saying it was “like she skinned my puppy.”
  • MTG shot back, saying those “nasty women” have no right to go after anyone else’s fashion.
  • She further challenged the show to bring her on for a debate.
