Supreme Court Investigation Jumps Into High Gear – Never Done Before Investigators Are Targeting Phone Records Of Clerks

When a draft opinion from the Supreme Court was leaked to the public, it astonished Americans. Democrats tried to press the court with that exceedingly unusual (and presumably illegal) disclosure.

This violation of policy and law infuriated our justices. An investigation has been requested by Chief Justice Roberts. And it appears that the case is heating up again after a few weeks of silence.

From CNN:

Supreme Court officials are escalating their search for the source of the leaked draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, taking steps to require law clerks to provide cell phone records and sign affidavits, three sources with knowledge of the efforts have told CNN…

The court’s moves are unprecedented and the most striking development to date in the investigation into who might have provided Politico with the draft opinion it published on May 2.

This is starting to become interesting. The Supreme Court is requesting clerks’ phone records as part of its investigation into the source of the leak.

Affidavits, which are similar to swearing under oath, will also be required of clerks. A clerk who lies on an affidavit could face harsh consequences.

Some clerks, according to CNN, are considering hiring outside counsel. Hmm… unless they have something to conceal, why would a clerk want to pay a lawyer over this?

We don’t believe CNN’s perspective, which is attempting to paint the court in a negative light for conducting the probe.

CNN and the rest of the left were unconcerned about the leak. They completely disregarded the crime in order to get on their pro-choice soapbox.

However, the reality remains that someone broke rules and procedures by leaking a draft, all in the aim of influencing the court from the outside.

That was a flagrant violation of our legal system and a betrayal of our government.

Democrats don’t seem to mind as long as it benefits their cause.

We have no way of knowing what will happen to the leaker if and when they are discovered. They will almost probably lose their jobs, and they may face federal prosecution as well.

It’s impossible to dismiss such a massive leak. And it’s likely that the justices will punish this person severely to ensure that it never happens again.
