Nancy Pelosi Says She Would Happily Go To Jail If She Could Punch Out Donald Trump

House Speaker was caught on video saying she would happily go to jail if she could punch then-President Donald Trump. Pelosi has a daughter who is a documentary filmmaker.

She was with the Speaker on Jan 6 and she was filming. Why the video was just released is a mystery. Pelosi and her team were watching Trump’s speech at the Capitol Ellipse where he said he would join his fans as they marched to the Capitol.

Pelosi was not pleased and an aide quickly told her not to worry as Secret Service did not believe they could protect Trump if he came so they would try to stop him from making the short trip.

Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., then told aides that if Trump followed through on his promise and overruled the Secret Service she would greet Trump with a punch to the nose.

She said at first, “Tell him if he comes here, we’re going to the White House,” but her mood quickly soured.

She said: “I hope he comes. If he comes, I’m going to punch him out.

“I’ve been waiting for this, for trespassing on Capitol grounds.

“I’m going to punch him out, and I’m going to go to jail, and I’m going to be happy.”

Pelosi also said in the video:

“Oh, my God, they’re just breaking windows or doing all kinds of — it’s really that somebody, they said somebody was shot.

“It’s just horrendous, and all at the instigation of the president of the United States.”

From NBC:

Pelosi’s daughter, documentary filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, captured the moment and many others on Jan. 6 in footage shot for HBO and first obtained by CNN.

It aired a few hours after the House select committee investigating the attack played other clips from the footage during its ninth hearing Thursday.

…Another clip shows Pelosi speaking to her staff as a crowd began to amass at the Capitol. In it, Pelosi’s chief of staff, Terri McCullough, informs the speaker that the Secret Service had “dissuaded” Trump from coming to Capitol Hill to join his supporters.
